LEO RODRIGUES / @LEOWILLCAPTUREITHey, I’m Leo.
I shoot photos
& films.
I’m Leo Rodrigues. You might know me as @leowillcaptureit. I make photographs and films for restaurants, brands, people, and places.
I’m from São Paulo, and New York is where a lot of my life happens now. I’m also a line cook. Food, cameras, and getting a little lost have always made sense together to me.
I’m usually looking for the light on a building, someone working with their hands, or a small moment I could have walked straight past. That’s what I want to bring to your project, too.
Photos. Films.
Your idea.
A few starting points. If your project doesn’t fit neatly into one of these, I’d still like to hear about it.
01Food & hospitality
The food, the space, and the people making it happen. Photographs and films for restaurants, cafés, and the stories around a table.
Talk to me about it
02Brands & people
Products, portraits, events, and the work you’re putting into the world. Photos and short films for a launch, a campaign, or a story you want to share.
Talk to me about it
03Places & travel
Architecture, streets, and everyday life. Images with the light, color, and details that made me stop in the first place.
Talk to me about itI know what happens
behind the plate.
I still work in kitchens. I care about the food, but also the hands making it, the prep before service, and the people you sit down with. When I photograph a restaurant, those are the things I’m looking for.
Food is one of the ways I get to know a place. It’s also one of the reasons I keep going somewhere new.
Why don’t we ever
look up?
I love architecture and the sky. In New York, looking up is sometimes the easiest way to feel close to nature. Light lands on a building for a few minutes and then it’s gone. I want to catch it.
The Wander Logs are where I put the photos and little stories from those walks. Japan is in there now. I’ll keep adding as I go.

working on?
Tell me what you’re making, where it’s happening, and roughly when. A few sentences are enough to get started.
Photography, film, or both. We can figure out the rest together.
